The Mall Of Vuosaari, Picture 1- I've been actually aware for a quite a long time the fact that the city would start to demolish this mall, or actually not this mall but another one, let me explain.

- About a year ago, I saw a newspaper article that stated that a certain mall will be demolished in Vuosaari area, it gave out the exact address and the name of the place. So, for the past year, I've been watching the place and wondering that how come nothing isn't happening. Then one day while driving in Vuosaari area, I noticed that this mall which is shown in the pictures is well underway of becoming a memory in the minds of the people. I've not read a single article about the fact that this place was also under the threat of demolition. My only explanation is, that again the newspapers have gotten the facts wrongly...

- So when I arrived to the place, six o'clock in the Sunday morning, much of the building complex was inaccessible due to the fact, that asbestos cleaning process was in progress. No matter what kind of safety equipment I would carry with me, I would not in any circumstances enter into a room, which is knee deep full of asbestos. No thank you, I would like to see my fiftieth birthday...

- Most of the interiors were already demolished, which affected to the fact that nearly no small details were to be seen anymore, just empty halls and wires hanging from the ceiling. The basement without a doubt would have been very interesting to see, but to my surprise when I started to walk towards the basement, a clear working sounds started to become a much louder. I finally stopped to the open door and could hear someone ripping off some metal parts etc...at six o'clock in the Sunday morning that is!

- Don't you people ever rest?

- Towards the basement, where some crazy person was working at six o'clock in the Sunday morning. Of course it could have been some vandals etc, but it was a very clear working sound, like someone banging something with a hammer. I certainly didn't feel like stopping by and asking if I could take pictures.
