- FIRE DESTROYS OLD VILLA

- The old wooden villa that was located at the end of the sport field of Kallalahti, was badly damaged by a fire last Friday around four o'clock in the afternoon. The villa will probably be demolished, as it was damaged beyond repairs. The great villa that's build in Art Nouveau manner, was home for the caretaker of the sports field, but has been abandoned lately. The empty house has been facing an demolition verdict, but lately the city has tried to find some new tenants to it. The roof and the upper floor from this two floor building was badly damaged, even when there was ten emergency units in sight after ten minutes. The police suspects that the fire was set on purpose.
