- Again one new association in this country that's heaven for associations. I truly don't know which one is more comical association, the Pro Turun Mustard association or this Area Returning association and it's announcer Mr. X (Keski-Uusimaa 12th of November, 2002) who apparently hasn't read any history books? If he at least has opened few books in his life, then one might assume that he knows how dangerous it is to start change borders all over again. Sixty years ago there was one man in Europe who wanted to change the borders that had been agreed in Versailles 1919. This obsession of one man, led Europe in a situation that borders really were changed, but of course not in that way that it could have satisfied everybody. Now almost sixty years later peoples have again forgotten what usually comes out from this kind of desire. What does Mr. X think about giving back certain areas, like East-Prussia to Germany? At least this way EU and Russia could get rid off the problem of Kaliningrad. What about Poland? Shouldn't Poland get back it's eastern territories that were enclosed to Soviet Union, even though Poland had fought along with Allies? Where is that border that will satisfy Mr. X and he's association? Where is that peace pact that is valid according to your Area Returning association? Apparently it's not the Paris peace pact, that you refer as "forced peace solution". Is peace pact of Versailles valid? Or how far should we go that we will find a peace pact that satisfy you and your association?
- If we forget and put history aside, let's think about for awhile that what could be done with these four billion euros that would be spent to rebuilt Karelia. Yes I know, it's a lot more glorious and exiting to buy wilderness, lakes and shabby houses from which you need to evict it's old inhabitants, than to arrange old peoples matters in order or matters of mental health patients in this country. Not even mentioning that you could pay back part of the national debt with four billion euros. Of course you can't find lakes and wilderness inside the present-day borders of this country. And no, you can't find shabby houses from this country, where the mental health patients, the unemployed and other less fortunate people live and understand the meaning of your association even less than I do.
- "And finally, generally and separately: protect the gentry of Finland, that they would not hit their head again, against the pine of Karelia. Amen."
