- So why the name Propaganda House? The answer to that question can be seen from the next picture, Picture 2. That propaganda mosaic was really the only small and interesting detail in this whole area. Surprisingly it has survived this far and hasn't received too extensive damage, although the face of the soldier seems to have been scratched off. I think that the mosaic gives a good impression, what was good, or at least what was thought to be good in Soviet Union. Now the soldier and the world from the mosaic only stares into the past, into history. - Reaching to this area was a bit frightening, as one had to walk through an area of wind power plants. So what's scary about those I hear someone asking? Listen, it's not the Netherlands and nice tourists brochures of some windmill slowly rotating next to a lovely channel, where you sip drinks... - Here the first thing was, that there were signs which warned that ice pieces might be flying from the blades of the wind power plants. The signs advised to keep a good distance from the wind power plants. Just one question, what is a safe distance? The sign didn't tell you that. The wind power plants itself were very huge ones and looking those rather closely, too closely actually, made us think that any ice piece flying from the blades, would fly a very far far away. - Just as long as you are not easily frightened about the "whooozzz" noise that the blades makes next to your head, it is an easy task to reach these buildings.

- The first view into the area, with only the walls standing. If so much has disappeared within the last ten years, I wonder how long will these walls even stand here? |

- It's quite easy to imagine, that the area must have looked very nice within the past twenty years. The trees still stand along this street, although the building itself is beyond the state where it could be repaired. |
