The Fuse Box- The winter is finally over and I can start to venture into abandoned places again, without risking to freeze my fingers. This industrial area, that's showed here, is quite large and I made three trips to this place to get everything into film, that I wanted. It starts from the old brick factory, that was build in the late 18th century.

- After that comes the little newer factory, from which I'm not sure what was manufactured there. The surrounding area is also large and contains many old buildings, some of them in a bad condition. If you walk about a kilometer to south, you will find large depressions, that now have formed ponds. These depressions, are the places where the brick factory collected clay for their bricks. Overall I would say that length of the whole area is about two kilometers, but the width is a lot less, perhaps only few hundred meters as the village has grown inside of this area. Some the old buildings still contain companies, so better watch out that you don't go inside of some building that still has a working company and get accused of burglary.

- This was also the first abandoned place, where I managed to get inside of a large building. I now know what other people who pursue this same interest, means by saying that this kind of hobby is a drug. Drug in which you will get addicted. While entering an abandoned building, the rest of the world stops from existing. There is just you, your camera and the building that could tell a thousand stories. Your foot steps echoing from the silent walls. Water dropping to the floor, in some room, creating a huge sound in otherwise silent building. The time stops when you enter into the building and it starts again, when you climb out of the obscure building, into the sun light.

Noise Area, Use Hearing Protector- I do not encourage you to do this alone, as there is of course risks to enter a big building. However if you do it, few things to remember. First of all, always when entering a room, remember to check that you can open the door from the other side also and that the door handle is in place. Otherwise things can get really complicated.

- Also while exploring, always keep an eye for another exit, if you happen to run into somebody who isn't too happy to see you there. Also try to keep in mind the layout of the building, as it will help you to get out quickly. Also looking where you step, will help you to avoid falling through some hole in the floor.

- The last thing is, that do not take anything with you! This is not a hobby where you rob the place clean from interesting stuff!
