- The church, which was the start of this castle. Unfortunately we were not able to enter inside, as the place was closed. I would have really much liked to see the interiors. It was Eastern when we were here and there was a service in the evening, but we were so tired from walking around the town, that we had to pass that one. |

- The walls even when some sections are quite ruined, have stood remarkable well the test of time and weather. Still, many of the small details have disappeared from the walls and many of the towers have collapsed. The construction of this castle is a very different from the European castles which were build much later than this one. There's only this one wall and nothing else. It almost looks too easy to come through from the wall, which looks very thin. But in 15th century, this kind of construction has been enough to protect the interiors from the not so effective fire arms. |
