- The only granary which has survived. Many of the destroyed granaries have been build again, but those have lost the typical shape of these buildings. This one has kept it's original shape. There's actually some working company inside, even when the building has seen a better days. There has been some plans to renovate the whole granary island, but so far without any real results. Currently there's an archaeological investigations going on in one of the ruins and the area has been closed from people. |

| - Few windows... Even when the area is
right in the middle of Gdansk, many people seem to pass by it and not
venture deeper into the island. Perhaps it's wise, as the area is
popular among the hobo's and pickpocket, but at least the Polish police
seems to be patrolling constantly in the island, so it would seem that
the place is one of the safest in the whole city.
