- Launched: 7th of December, 1906

- Commissioned: 6th of July, 1908

- Fate: 18th of December 1944: The ship is hit by a several bombs on the Gotenhafen harbour and as a result the ship sinks. On 21st of March 1945, the ship is blown up. In the spring of 1946 the ship is raised from the bottom by the Russians and towed to Tallinn (Estonia). After this the ship is used as a target practice ship near the island of Osmussaar. Finally in the seventies the ship is dismantled and today, nothing can be seen above the surface. The Estonian Maritime Museum have located the ship's rudder, cannon and few other parts at the depth of 8 to 9 meters at the location of: N59°19'98" E023°31'97". NOTE: The irony of this ship and it's fate lies in the fact, that this ship was the first one to fire live ammunitions towards the Polish troops in the city of Danzig, thus starting the Second World War. Why the ship was in Danzig, was that it was attending to the ceremony of remembering the German sailors who died in 1914, when their light cruiser Magdeburg run aground near the island of Osmussaar.
