- Fate: Like with the Wilhelm Heidkamp, operational history of Diether von Roeder was a short one. It also took part to the invasion of Norway and headed to Narvik, where it was heavily engaged against the British destroyers. The ship was sunk into the Narvik harbour, during the second destroyer battle on 13th of April 1940.
