WWII Battlefield Relics

- A great site about amateur archeologist, who tour around Europe, looking for battlefield relics from the Second World War. Have you looked your backyard, that there's no rusty Panther tank there?

Military Music

- A very nice site with a collection of old military music in MP3's. A wroth of checking definitely!

Last Top-Secret WWII Mission (E.T.O.)

- The last top-secret mission in WWII, meaning the capture of Herman Göring. It's a nice presentation, although made with the flash, means that there is stops to load everything now and then. Also there's the "American Heroism" aspect in the presentation, so be critical when you look at it and hear the four men being surrounded by a quarter of a million Nazi troops...

Jad Vashem: Holocaust Info

- The Finnish section of Jad Vashem, with a very comprehensive information about the Holocaust. Only in Finnish.

Images For Reflection

- Horribly beautiful photographs by Scott L. Sakansky, from the darkest period of the European history.

- Extensive documentation and touring of the Jewish heritage sites in the modern day Europe. If you are interested about the Holocaust and want to see the places without ever leaving from home, to travel on your own, this is the best site in internet to tour around the places.

Westerplatte

- This is not the official site for the Westerplatte fortification, but the site is absolute excellent. Maintained by a group of obviously dedicated researchers, it's an excellent site for anyone interested about the place, from where the Second World War started. Unfortunately the site is only in Polish, although the English part seems to be under construction.

The Soldiers Of The Great War

- An excellent presentation about the Operation Barbarossa, German invasion of Soviet Union. The whole campaign from it's optimistic start to the total defeat in the end is presented with a multimedia map. Videos, photographs, interviews etc etc, makes the war in Soviet Union alive. The downside is that the presentation has been made with Macromedia Flash and you need a quite good connection to make it work properly and even then it sometimes gets stuck.

Bunker Pictures

- A very nice site, mainly about The Atlantikwall. Very interesting site if German military ruins interests you.
