- If you like to know more about Krepost Sveaborg, this is the site that you need to be heading. Absolutely the best site about this fortification, with a lot of historical information and pictures available for your viewing. Unfortunately the English and German sections are not as comprehensive as the Finnish section.

- Finnish defensive line which was build to the Karelian Isthmus in the 1920's and 30's, still holds remnants from the bunkers and other defensive structures, where heavy battles were fought during the Winter War.

- A comprehensive collection of cancellations from the Finnish ceded areas. Only in Finnish.

- A very nice presentation about the Suursaari, which was given to Soviet Union after the Second World War and has remained closed ever since. Many old photographs, postcards and postal items on display. Only in Finnish.

- A few postcards and cancellations from the Tytärsaari island, which was also handed over to the Soviet Union after the war. Like Seiskari and Lavansaari, it has been closed from civilians ever since. Only in Finnish.

- The biggest one of the islands in the Gulf of Finland that were given to Soviet Union. This one has also remained nearly closed from the civilians, but recently some Finnish people have managed to travel to the island and admire it's preserved nature. The site contains postcards and few cancellations from the island. Only in Finnish.

- Nice site with photographs from the Karelia area, which now contains a lot of abandoned buildings and other urban remains. The site is only in Finnish, but if you figure out the navigation system, you can still look at the beautiful pictures.

- The tragedy of Karelia shows places and buildings from the Finnish ceded area of Karelia. Most of the buildings now after some sixty years are in a bad shape. Even as I do not agree with the political views and motivations of this organization, the pictures are still just amazing. The site is only in Finnish, but you can always look at the pictures.
