- Notice how the trees are growing through the ceiling? The floor must be a really solid one.

- I guess the lesson to be learned from this visit is, that it's good to see that other countries also abandoning beautiful buildings that have a historical meaning to the country. The state of decay that this building now is in, is just unbelievable, like with the trees growing through the ceiling. Perhaps the place is beyond of repair? Don't know, but this fort certainly would have been a worth of saving. Hopefully it will still stand there, the next time I get to Belgium...
