Base XXII, Position 4, Picture 1- The construction of this position was started in 1915 and now in the 21st century, it's has nearly disappeared from the landscape. The most distinctive feature of the position is this open shelter. I used to live in the area some ten to fifteen years ago and I can still remember this shelter standing alone in this small patch of forest.

- Even today it's as clearly visible as fifteen years ago and I do believe that someone is taking care of the remnants of this position, so that it would not be buried completely under the city. Rest of the position has been destroyed under the huge intersection of Kehä I freeway.

- There's still few remains from the trench line, but it's not really visible unless you know exactly what you are looking at. The intersection has vanished every traces from which to clearly identify the whole position. Even during the summer of 2005, the freeway was widened and some remnants from the trench line most likely were buried under soil, as the landscape was heavily modified in the Eastern part of the intersection.

- The official inventory makes a note that the area contains another shelter which has been buried under soil almost completely. The inventory was made in the Spring and Summer of 1995. Now in the Summer of 2005, I really couldn't find any indication that there would be any other shelter remaining in the area, except the one which is shown in the pictures. Inventory also states that there's a remains from a lime barrel which has petrified in this shelter, but I really couldn't see any remains from the lime barrel. There is a rather large stone inside the shelter, but it has been buried under garbage so heavily, that it's rather hard to identify is it just a stone or a petrified lime barrel.

- One has to also remember that I'm photographing and trying to find each locations on my own and for just one person, that is a huge task, so please do not take my words as a word from God, because on my own I'm not able to find and most importantly, to see everything.

Base XXII, Position 4, Picture 2

- The interiors are full of garbage and it really seems like someone is sleeping here now and then. The large stone is located right next to the doorway, on the left side of the yellow piece of garbage. It might be the petrified lime barrel and then again, it might not be.
