Base III: Position 14, Picture 1- Most likely one of the last photographing opportunities before the Spring of 2005, as the snow has now covered the landscape and hiding again the Krepost Sveaborg, like it has done for the past 80 to 90 years. Although, it might be that I'll again venture to one of those remote islands, off the coast of Helsinki as the winter is the perfect time to walk to those place...we'll see...

- Not a very exciting place, although the concrete trenches are in a very good condition mostly and the details are clearly visible here. But only a few short pieces of the trenches can be found from this area, which is located in a small forest area, in the middle of the residential houses.

- Quite a lot of garbage around, like sofas etc, although I'm not sure can you even call that a garbage anymore? Also the trenches which are not reinforced with concrete, are quite badly collapsed, but I think that either the museum office or the local residential union is keeping the trenches mostly clear from trees and bushes as only the bigger gun positions are overrun by vegetation.

- The place is located strangely  in the middle of the first and the second defensive line. A supportive position perhaps, but the whole area does look like, it wasn't ever completed, as there's only few small pieces of trenches here and there. I really couldn't figure out, what was the purpose of those trenches, that went on for only few meters. So perhaps this area was never completed properly?
